How To Easily Disinfect Your Sofa?

A sofa requires to be deep cleaned and disinfected twice a year. Usually, it’s done by steam cleaning. This hot water extraction method removes all the accumulated impurities as well as the germs.

However, if you have pets which are able to get on the couch on their own or if you have kids then you should disinfect them more often. Another reason for sofa disinfection is when someone in the family gets sick.

How To Disinfect A Fabric Covered Couch

If your couch is made out of fabric and it’s not leather then you need to prepare a spray bottle, water, distilled white vinegar and Castile Soap.

Now, mix everything in the spray bottle (2 cups of warm water, 1/3 cup of distilled white vinegar, a tablespoon of the soap).

After making your disinfectant you need to vacuum your sofa in order to remove dirt, dust, pet hair, and larger debris.

Then continue with spraying the fabric with the mixture but don’t go crazy – you don’t want to soak the sofa. Grab a soft brush and gently scrub the surface.

Allow your sofa to air-dry!
