This Cheap DIY Window Cleaner Will Leave Your Windows Spotless!

Have you ever wondered whether you can use just three natural ingredients that you have in your home to clean your windows? I know I used to wonder which ingredients I can mix to come up with the next best DIY cleaner. Of course, this was way back when I first started switching from commercial cleaners to DIY ones. Now I know that anything is possible – especially deep cleaning your entire home with just a few basic natural ingredients like vinegar and rubbing alcohol. I have saved so much money ever since I started using DIY recipes which is why I recommend you give them a try as well. Also, if you suffer from allergies DIY cleaners will help you a lot because they won’t cause any reactions.

But before I move on to a completely different topic, let’s focus on this DIY Window cleaner that you need only three ingredients for – it’s cheap, it’s easy to make, it’s natural, and it’s super effective. Yes, it will indeed leave your windows spotless and you can even use it on your mirrors! Don’t believe me? It’s tested by the cleaning experts over at (a cleaning company located in London).

Here Is How To Make It!

You need to prepare water, vinegar, and lemon juice… that’s it. Of course, if you hate the smell of vinegar you can also add a few drops of your favourite essential oils. I do that quite often because I’m not a fan of the scent plus I don’t want my home to smell like vinegar.

Mix equal parts of vinegar and water in a spray bottle. I normally use 250ml of each. Then add a few tablespoons of the lemon juice. If I have to be honest, the lemon juice does a pretty good job at canceling the vinegar smell so you don’t really need to add essential oils but if you do have a sensitive nose like mine then 4-6 drops of the oil is enough.

And just like that, you made an incredible DIY window cleaner!
